This educational programme aims not only at providing highly skilled drilling technicians with essential professional competence to supervise operational personnel, but also at giving personnel within the field of drilling the possibility to obtain formal education in drilling.
Upon completion of the study programme, students will have acquired further knowledge on central tasks; for example:
- how to run operations,
- how to perform trouble shooting,
- how to implement corrective actions.
Throughout the learning process, students will develop:
- skills and know-how, which they will build on and develop further in their work as skilled drilling technicians who are able to plan and accomplish their own set tasks,
- skills and competencies to oversee work being carried out by others, according to given requirements and specifications.
